DESCRIPTION:
DAFNIS PRIETO is a master drummer. Born and raised in Cuba, he moved to New York in 1999. He played a.o. with people like Steve Coleman, Henry Threadgill but also with Eddy Palmieri from the more traditonal Latin scene. Together with vocalist KOKAÍ he started playing in duo's, that after asking JASON LINDNER to join became PROVERB TRIO.
This special is an impression of the (completely improvised) concert they gave on festival MUSIC MEETING 2013 from sunday may 19th.
