The last few years have been exciting times for UK music. The Grime scene is firmly establishing itself as the UK’s first legitimate form of Hip Hop and the music being produced is influencing people from London to New York.

To stand out in this crowd you have to be special with lyrics and the charisma to back it up.



Cyko Logic is the next gifted MC to come off the chart topping UK grime conveyor belt. He made his name on the underground scene building up a loyal fan base and gaining over a 1,000,000 views on his MySpace page.



The last few years have seen him perform on the main stage at Somerset House with Ms Dynamite, Chipmunk and MC Ghetts, record tracks with Tinchy Stryder & Dot Rotten as well as release his own video "DownWidIt", which did really well on Channel U and the other on demand video channels. This success brought him to the attention of some of the UK's top producers and 2010 is now set to be his year.



March will see the release of Cyko Logic’s first new track “Lady” produced by award winners The Hoxtonwhores and taken from his debut album “Down wid it” to be released later in 2010. April will see the release of his second track “When I walk in” produced by chart topping hit makers Bimbo Jones.These releases are set to catapult Cyko Logic onto everyone’s i-pods and into the public eye where he belongs.



Cyko Logic is no ordinary grime MC. Hailing from Kensal Green, North West London. He has had to learn to survive and prosper on some of the hardest streets in the UK. With lots of the young men around his age being pulled into crime or the gang culture he has tried to stay positive and use his energy to follow his passions.



Music and fashion have helped to provide the focus and given Cyko Logic the chance to shine. His clothing label 'Down wid it' is growing from strength to strength with recent support from Chart Selling artist Kid Rad.



He passionately says "I was fed up of supporting brands that looked good but didn’t represent me properly, i found myself buying but I had no real ownership of the brand and the message it represents.



I told myself i would create my own views and message to add to my sounds and give people the chance to add their stamp. It would be my start and to make sure no-one would dismiss it, it would have to be for everyone. 'a brand for everyone that can mean anything'"



Down wid it has become one of the fastest growing independent fashion labels in the UK.



This passion that has led Cyko Logic to get involved in another project called Inspire London. He enthuses “I have been lucky enough to meet some amazingly talented people while trying to make it in the music industry. I have been able to bring some of these people together to create a website that will hopefully eliminate some of the problems I have faced and also give people the platform to provide a positive image and show people the amazing talent in young London”.

Cyko Logic is different he wants to contradict the stereotype image of a grime MC and fly in the face of the picture the media tries to portray of inner city young black males. He explains “The motto for Downw Wid It is - It's a of way life and life is what you make it, therefore DWi is what YOU make it. I want to give people the confidence they can achieve anything”



Undoubtedly one of the UK’s most exciting artists –RPM Magazine stated “he is unrivalled in his lyrical delivery, his skills have been honed on the underground grime scene and his live performances never disappoint”

The anticipation of for his forthcoming releases have seen over 3000 new people add their emails to a members list that already stood at over 27,000 emails.



With more material in the pipeline, working with some of the best producers in the business, there is no doubt this year the industry is about to stop and take notice of Cyko Logic.
