FIRST BLACK POPE : brand new harsh electro--goth outfit from Italy combining hard powerful beats in malevolent and grevious atmos--fears with cutting edge painful screaming vocals which tell the difficult marriage between the sense of sin and permeating feeling of imminent catastrophe.
In 2004 : selected by London Cryonica Records , featured in vol.3 of their celebrated sampler Cryonica Tanz with the track Evil One (fucking bastard remix) together with bands such as INERTIA, SOLITARY EXPERIMENT, CULTUR KULTUR, SPETSNAZ and many others. The track has also been added to the playlist of several noted goth djs worlwide.
Following: The band opens for bands like ULTRAVIOLENCE, PANKOW, DAS ICH, KIRLIAN CAMERA, ROSA CRUX and INERTIA, gaining a strong reputation for their extremely violent and blasphemous live shows with notorious bleeding penance-performance.

Taking part as special guest for the "Good & Evil" tour with ANGELS & AGONY first and "Hate never dies" celebration tour with HOCICO then, FIRST BLACK POPE are acclaimed everywhere on the net as one of the most amazing hard impact live acts ever seen. FIRST BLACK POPE also toured with Ebm's First Lady UNTER NULL which eventually led them to remix her hit "Prophecy" released as a single by Alpha Matrix. Their ever-growing remix activity also include work for the italian metal legends DEATH SS whose track
remix "Giv'em Hell" released as single for Self/Regain has been adopted as
smashing intro by I.C.W. the Italian Wrestling Federation, and for the hot newcomers HELALYN FLOWERS on their Alpha Matrix's debut album.
