DESCRIPTION:
Context impacts your thoughts on music so greatly, and in so many ways, it's almost impossible to calculate. Who you are, where you're from, what year it is, and what you've heard all have the potential to shape your tastes into something completely different. Of course, who the artists are, the music they make, and any notable circumstances surrounding the release of an album or single can also affect feelings--and these are the types of contest that are talked about most--but I happen to think the biggest piece of the puzzle is you and your personal experiences.

As much as context is apart of what you do and don't like about music, I also happen to think you could subtract pieces of it from of the equation if you understand how they work--you know, and come closer to understanding your taste, and possibly even opening yourself up to new ideas.

Or is this all just a load of bullpucky?
