His 'How To Confuse A Cat' originally appeared on Spring Tube's second Sampler and was one of the standouts pieces from the compilation. Faskil's productions have appeared on a wide assortment of very respected imprints including: frisky, microCastle, Silk and Morphosis. He has also lent his hand to remixing a wide range of artists from the likes of Orbital, Luca Ricci and Derek Howell, to Harland and Gemma Hayes with the latter being one of out all time favourites productions. Aside from producing and being an uber-cool journalist, Jean launched the "Connected" events in Paris with his friends and also hosts a successful monthly show on Frisky Radio - "Silly Waffles". This is Spring Tube's56th overall release and it sees brand new version of 'How To Confuse A Cat'. The first two remixes come from some of the labels storied residents, Polish producer Kobana and the Latvian duo of Blood Groove & Kikis. Kobana's version comes with an amazing grinding style groove and some powerful, ascending stabs that leads to teh introduction of a gorgeous set of key clusters and shimmering melodic lines that encompass the breakdown. Amazing work from Kobana. Blood Groove & Kikis are of course known for their unmatched house and progressive grooves and they've crafted another one here. The bassline is really special, just amazing shape and character on it and the breakdown is absolutely breathtaking. It's highly emotional and captivating dance music that still works perfectly on a dance floor. Amazing work from Blood Groove & Kikis and our favourite version on the package. The next interpretation is from the Italian producer Max Gueli whi we;ve been hug e fans of for a while with his productions on Armada, frisky and Fragments. For his 'How To Confuse A Cat' interpretation Max has brought his glassy melodies and more trance oriented sensibilities to the track with spectacular results. A big and emotional progressive trance anthem in the making that still has a wonderful classic vibe about it. Closing the package out is France's Raf Fender who brings his unrelenting and electric sounding style perfectly to 'How To Confuse A Cat' with another supreme big room interpretation that we've come to expect from him. Top package from Spring Tube and certainly one of the best in their excellent discography.
