Introducing Comet Records - Bangkoks Electronic Indie Label

COMET RECORDS is Bangkok’s first independent electronic music label representing a
family of art lovers, designers and musicians from BKK’s underground. Founded 2012 by Jackchai Panchanon, Comet Records became a home to a group of creative minds who express their art in non-commercial purposed music and design.

“Thailand is a place known for tourism, full moon party’s and Tuktuk’s. But in the heart of the capital you will find incredible undiscovered musical talent. Electronic music is our passion, and we as Comet Records want to give local artists the chance to live, develop and spread their art internationally.”

The label’s first release ‘COMET RECORD COMPILATIONS VOL.1’ featured a wide variety of experimental electronic tunes including influences of pop, rnb, synth, chill wave, funk, and dance, establishing a new direction for Bangkok’s electronic music scene.

Following the successful launch of Comet Records, 2015 will hold the second compilation release, intimate small-scale label events as well as multiple individual artist releases.

Expect a new wave of electronic music and art coming your way soon.
