Collective_AKA

Collective AKA was formed due to the coming together of a few scenster nobs!

Simoon and Adam started doing Out of Spite gigs in Leeds in April 1998. In about 2000/01, cannot remember really, Jimmy 'Out of Step/Hermit' Beale and Trog 'Confined/general tit' Rogerson decided the gigs they were doing in Manchester/Preston were crap compared to the Out of Spite gigs Simon and Adam were doing, so moved to Leeds to try and put on some good gigs themselves.

After many arguments and fights which the Out of Spite guys won, we decided to join forces and form the Collective AKA, and in the years to come put on some pretty badass gigs.

After a few years, Jimmy Beale couldn't hack the pace of the collective so was kicked to the curb, and Andrew Ninety/Elite was drafted into the Collective as he was starting to do gigs of his own and we didn't want that to ruin our fun.

Soon after, Trog and Adam dropped out for various reasons. marriage - children, being a bit of a dick in trog's case. Therefore Simoon and Andy are now left to look after the Collective AKA, with Andy doing most of the work these days, bless him, simoon is just getting lazy in his old age.

Over the years though, we all have probably filled most of our wishes in putting the bands on that we enjoy and respect the most, and have probably got a year or two left in us to try and put on those remaining few that elude us!
