DESCRIPTION:
Tony Romano and Cleve Douglass share their experiences during previous tours in Russia and announce their new co-production "Dessert Flower" and their upcoming Russian Tour 2014.
Romano wrote many of the compositions on the album while touring Russia with alto saxophonist Lenny Sendersky, who co-leads the band and contributes several compositions himself. The album features all star musicians including trumpeter Randy Brecker, vibraphonist Joe Locke, bassist Steve LaSpina, and drummer Matt Kane.
Romano and Douglass will be regular performers at the brand new Moscow 57 restaurant on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
