Dedicated to the Victims of the Colorado Floods - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 15, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
I may not have been personally affected by the floods, but I am just miles away from them. The devastation is unlike anything Colorado has ever experienced. Today, I wrote from my heart. I hope this sends a message of hope to the victims of this natural disaster.

Love and blessings,
Clare Foster

Lyrics:
Knee deep in disaster
would you take a look at this mess
Nothing here but water
submerged in an ocean of stress

Washed away
memories, homes, true loves in gray
Set us free
wrap you're arms around us, we pray, we pray

(Chorus) We stand together
hand in hand, we lift each other up
through tears we love and understand it's rough
but our pain is never greater than God's love

We are the fighters
through good and bad we march on through the trenches,
saving lives, I promise we can beat this
God heals, He loves, He strengthens, please believe it (End Chorus)

(Bridge) Mountains, rivers, fields and valleys
the beauty here was overwhelming,
devastating all surroundings,
feeling like our state is drowning

Remember to embrace the struggle,
through mud, the pain, the tears, the trouble
The day will come, again we'll settle
We just miss our Colorado, Colorado

(Repeat Chorus)
