Ritchie Weems And The Continental Five were a group from Pikeville, Kentucky. They got their start around 1962, and in 1964 were signed with Spot Records for a couple of releases. Their third release on the label, Natural Born Man, was picked up by Dunhill Records, prior to becoming the force that it would be with Lou Adler on board producing acts like Barry McGuire and the Mamas & The Papas.
