Being 1st call drummer for both Rihanna and Stevie Wonder, Chris Johnson knows how to make it to the big stages. We met up with Chris in Berlin, Germany to get insight on his career, his path to becoming the drummer on 2 of today´s biggest gigs and checked out his new Yamaha "Live Custom" kit, Chris ´drums choice for the 2013 "DIAMONDS" World Tour with Rihanna.

Chris Johnson was one of the last 70's babies born in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Fathers church in South Central where he found his love for music. Drums came the easiest for him and so clinging to it he was able to play only in church at a young age.
After moving out at the age of 19 Chris continued developing his musical skills, expanding to all different styles of music. His talent and hard work has brought him to 2 of the biggest gigs out there, sitting in for both Rihanna and Stevie Wonder.
