Born Paul Wailani Avilla on March 13, 1976 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents Francis Scott Key & Terry Ann Avilla. Cisco has had much adversity along the way to get to where he’s at now & where he’s going. He was raised in the tough streets of Kalihi, most of which he spent in the Lanakila Housing Projects. Life has been anything but easy for the Kidd. Most of his friends were involved in gangs, doing drugs, partying & fooling around. You name it. He’s been there & can definitely relate. To those who know him well, he is one of the most down to earth & realest people you could meet with a great sense of humor & an undeniable passion for what he sets his mind to do, especially when it comes to his faith & music. He has been given a second chance at life & is making the most of it both on a personal & professional level. He hasn’t forgotten where he’s come from or lost focus of where he’s going. He speaks the truth from the heart in love cause he truly cares about his people & is destined to leave his mark by making a difference for the better in this generation & to come. He is a leader who is bold, yet compassionate, because he understands & sees what’s going on both inside & outside of the box. He’s travelled all across the south of the U.S. & has performed at various venues along the way including a statewide tour in Florida in 2007. He is known internationally & has even been featured on 3 nationally recognized & distributed compilations. He is far from being just your typical local artist & knows what he’s worth & will not settle for less. He has all the talent to make it to the top for quite some time, so be on the lookout for the Kidd to make his move back up the charts real soon. It’s definitely been a long time coming.
