DESCRIPTION:
Chuck Pyle is one of the most interesting singer-songwriters from the western U.S., capturing the feeling of wide open spaces and loneliness in his evocative song protraits. He is also a fine guitarist, known for his percussive fingerstyle approach to the instrument, which compliments his compositions so well.

The "River City Folk" television program was produced in 1994-95 by Tom May, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Branson, Missouri's Americana Cable Network.
It was shown throughout the U.S. on cable networks and on PBS TV in Nebraska.
