Radio Silence - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 15, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Admittedly, I don't know how to use any video editing software. So I don't know how to make the title not pulsate like that. Hopefully, it doesn't annoy you as it does me. Anyway, my friend sugested I do this, and this is my first original song I've posted to YouTube. I've gotten enough followers to where I feel like a few of you might be interested in hearing what I write in my spare time. I wrote this song this week, and I really like it. I hope you do too. I would post video of me playing it, but I've lost that capability. Which is why I haven't posted any updates in like a year. If you wanna download this song, just go here: https://soundcloud.com/christian-kettlewell Anyway, comments are always welcome, but please keep them civil. I'll post the lyrics too. Bless.

Radio silence
On today of all
Day after day
I've been trying
To douse my way out
While lying down

Been feeling down and out

No vibrations
My phone just
Lays there waiting
But I know that
I was complacent
And you've moved along

A long road ahead

Waits but I'll find my place on it
I wish on each passing comet
I look toward the sky but it's so dark

So won't you phone when you get home
And I'll act like I wasn't hoping
But no I know that you won't
And I'll find my own way along this road

Planes fly by me
And I wish that
I was unwinding
The strings that
Kept me tying
To time and this

This long road ahead

Waits but I'll find my place on it
I wish on each passing comet
I look toward the sky but it's so dark

So won't you phone when you get home
And I'll act like I wasn't hoping
But no, I know that you won't
And I'll have to find my own way along this road

I don't know what the secret is
To acting like you don't exist
I don't know what a good reason is
To be ok with that

So won't you phone when you get home
And I'll act like I wasn't hoping
But no I know that you won't
And I'll find my own way along this road
