Hector Christie is the singer of the duo, and comes from the great singing area of Scotland,Aberdeenshire,although he has spent almost as long in that other forge of great ballads the Scottish Borders. His long standing love of traditional music has seen him in a number of roles from organiser to radio broadcaster, but his first love has always been singing. He is an accomplished singer, possessed of a soulful expressive voice, and(something he shares with Chris) a determination to let the song always come first.

Chris Edwards is of Welsh/Cumbrian parentage, and is a talented multi-instrumentalist with a breadth and depth of experience that encompasses not only being an accompanist in other line-ups,but also living in Ireland and playing with a range of fine musicians there, as well as at various times having played in ceilidh bands,and studying /playing Scandinavian music.

Their respectful approach to a strong repertoire ensures that you will be reminded of what made you love this music in the first place.
