Live performance played BY EAR! Turrican title music by Chris Huelsbeck - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 19, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
As a tribute to the book Generation 64 written by Jimmy Wilhelmsson, i decided to record the song i've been practicing on for a while. I felt it was a nice background song for the unboxing of the book. So here is the raw footage of me playing the song.

Don't forget to listen to my other Amiga game song:

Info about the song:
This is the title music for for the game Turrican as heard on the Commodore Amiga. The game was released in 1990 and the music was made by Chris Hülsbeck (Huelsbeck).

This is my live version of the song played in 175 bpm. 3 parts are pre recorded and one of them is played through the whole song. The other parts are activated while im playing. I using the footpedal to switch to different parts in the song. At some parts im changing the octave for the choir at the display, just before and during the electric guitar part. The original style used in the Tyros 3 was "GermanRock" but has been tweaked to suit this song. After the song was recorded on the keyboard, it was exported out as a wave file. The video was recorded on my Sony Xperia Z2 and then everything was put together with Photoshop CS6 and Audacity.
