Ayo Beatz says the tune is about reflecting on the challenges of life, making a resolve and encouraging oneself that despite obstacles and distractions, 'I can get through it'. And it's about adopting the feeling we all have sometimes when we are hyping ourselves, 'feel like I'm the Chosen One'. Like there is a plan and nothing can get in the way of reaching one's goal, one's destiny. Almost like a P Diddy circa 90's 'Cant Nobody Hold Me Down'

The 'Chosen One' video was shot in Dubai, but unlike 'Abu Dabbin', his current collaboration single, this is a much more stripped back affair, focusing simply on the music and Ayo Beatz's performance.

For Ayo Beatz, despite all the collaborations in 2016, he wants to show and remind his followers, fans - old and new, he can deliver the goods solo, which for him is a preview and statement intent for things to come.

Apart from being an artist in his own right, Ayo Beatz is an in demand producer for signed and independent artists, from both the domestic and international scene.
