"Patacore" is a Colombian rhythm, similar to "Currulao", typical of the departments of Cauca and Nariño, and it's also a song, originally interpreted by José Antonio Torres "Gualajo".
Born in Guapi, on the pacific coast of Colombia, Maestro Gualajo, has dedicated all his life to playing typical instruments of the area such as the "Marimba de Chonta".
Producer Dj Sabo from the U.S. has respectfully and talentedly interpreted the original Gualajo song, faithfully preserving its trans and its slow evolution, adding some powerful beats, deep basses, and spacey atmospheres.
