DESCRIPTION:
Video of me parachuting from my Pitts S1S when it had control failure. I managed to jumps out around 800ft and parachute fully opens around 200ft. I waded in the water for about 15 mins and then help arrived. I walked away with bruising on my legs from the parachute deployment. Swollen knees from the impact of the water and cuts on my ears and head from the canvas headset ripping off. Sadden to have lost my aircraft but glad to still be here and be able to fly again.
