This is a great video clip of The Allman Brothers Band with the original line up including Duane Allman and Berry Oakley. This is from The Love Valley Pop Festival in North Carolina on July 17th, 1970. Special thanks to all The Allman Brothers for the many years of incredible music and great memories they have given all of us. If you have never seen The Brothers live, that should be your next goal in life. Everybody should experience an Allman Brothers show. They put out great studio albums and their live shows are pretty close to a religious experience. OK, maybe a spiritual experience would be a better description. But you should not miss it whatever it may end up being to you. Without The Allman Brothers, there never would have been "southern rock".
