Founded in 1994 by a couple of music freaks in a damp dark basement in the lower Haight neighbor hood Rodent Records has grown into quite a recording experience. On August 20th 2008 current and past artists of the Rodent Records label returned to the Potrero Hill recording studio studio celebrate the 40th birthday of the labels owners / director Elton Ridge. It was a party that not only celebrated his birthday, but the art rock scene of the Mission district of the mind 1990's thru early 2000s. it was a night to be remembered.
