DESCRIPTION:
While taking a breather in the studio from workin on Chantelle's new album, set to be released first quarter of next year, we decided to quickly record a cover of john mayer's song 'who says', off his latest album 'battle studies'...

we set up the amazing studio projects mics we've been using on the album, figured out a key for chantelle, and just went for it... the t3 mic is an amazing tube microphone that can make anyones voice nice, fat, n silky (and sits in the mix nicely), the c4 mics are just amazing microphones for tons of things, but we've been using em in the studio as acoustic mics and drum overhead mics...very full sounding...


what you see is how it was recorded, we just added a bit of reverb in logic and thats that... hope you enjoy it...
