My Fender Princeton Recording Amp has been faulty for a long time and with little to no chance of it being properly fixed, so I could sell it (in a very, very restricted market here in Phuket) I decided to put the cabinet to good use.
This project is a success to my ears. It is capable of sounding modern and convincingly vintage, weighs just 14kg of which about 10kg is the empty cabinet!
Whilst I haven't tried it out as such, it should be equally adept as a bass amp and possibly an acoustic amp too, which makes this the most versatile amp I've ever had, plus it sounds every bit as good as any vintage tube amp I've ever owned.
