DESCRIPTION:
2+1 is one of the sub-groups of Apartment Project, it is formed by an artist Selda Asal.
2+1 is a rap music video project , targeting youngsters between ages 15-22, and gives young people the possibility to try forms of expressing themselves through writing songs, play music and films.

Since 2004 , 2+1 has been engaging various artists (such as Ceren Oykut, Neriman Polat, Serdar Ateser, from Turkey Cem Akkan and Özgür Erkök.)and also from various cultures at their location: France (Lille), Sweden (Stockholm), Denmark(Holstebro), Germany(Berlin & Ludwigshafen), Estonia ( Mooste), Norway (Drammen), Iran(Tehran), Azarbeican (Bacu), Georgia (Tibilisi), Armenia( Yerevan) and Turkey (Istanbul and Diyarbakir).
Since the very beginning the project that is focusing on notions such as “knowing, getting to know, understanding, making the voice heard” has been exhibited in exhibitions, biennials; local shops, supermarkets, markets and public spaces such as train stations.
