Black Carnation by Takeshi Terauchi (黒いカーネーション 寺内タケシ) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 14, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
This is a cover of "Black Carnation", a 60's Japanese eleki tune by the legendary Takeshi Terauchi and The Bunnys, from their album "Let's Go Terry!". The audio track was pre-recorded to allow for better audio and multiple camera angles. The backing track was extracted from the original track using Vox Jamvox III's GXT technology (a sort of limiting filter). The lead guitar track was recorded with a Mosrite through a Gomez El Sonido amp; effects were a Gomez G-Spring reverb tank, an EP Booster, a Timmy overdrive, and a Strymon El Capistan echo. One Shure sm57 was positioned in the front of one of the 12" Jensen Reissue P12N speakers. PC input device was a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and audio was captured and mixed in Audacity. Video recorded with an iphone 4S, and the final project was brought together in Adobe Premiere. Thanks for watching!
