King Curtis played with his band The Kingpins at the Fillmore West venue in San Francisco in March 1971. The group were Aretha Franklin's backing band. Jerry Jemmott on bass, Cornell Dupree on guitar, Billy Preston on electric organ, Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie on drums and the Memphis Horns.
