DESCRIPTION:
Trinidad and Tobago has been named as the most dangerous country in the English-speaking Caribbean in the Global Peace Index Report 2017.

Opposition Senator Wade Mark asked the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs what urgent measures are being taken to correct this negative image of our country.

Answering on behalf of Dennis Moses was the Minister of National Security Edmund Dillon.

He said the country's image is not the responsibility of any single Ministry or entity.

He also explained that the country was on the list due to a rise in military expenditure.
