DESCRIPTION:
This is part 2 of my 40 minute narrated musical adaptation of the Greek legend of Theseus and the Minotaur. This part is called "In the Palace of Knossos." This was the project I put together as the recipient of the 2012 Jann Rutherford Memorial Award.The members of my band "Captain Kirkwood" are (from left to right) Glenn Doig - piano, Ketan Joshi - narrator, Tom Botting - bass, myself (Ellen Kirkwood) - trumpet, Alon Ilsar - drums, Paul Cutlan - reeds.
