CADET

Cadet was born in Uganda, East Africa, and came to the UK at the age of 3. The youngest of 8 siblings, he grew up in North London where he was exposed to the harsh realities of inner city life. Yet his upbringing was deeply rooted in God, and this enabled him to have a solid foundation that gave him strength and encouragement and currently attends El Shaddai Ministries under the pastoral of international Christian leader Ramson Mumba. Since God spoke to him about his mission to be a music minister, Cadet has been honoured to be able to bring words of wisdom to many youths. However, he desires to reach everyone and wants the world to hear what God has imparted in him. Believing Hip Hop as a powerful tool within culture, Cadet aims to use this style of music to reach the lost and also benefit of the Kingdom. He also feels strongly about unity within the body of Christ and working together for The Great Commission. He received the revelation to use the artist name ‘Cadet’ due to the fact that he believes he is a young soldier in training under the hand of God, his Master and General. Cadet understands he is in preparation for what lies ahead, both in this world and the next, and furthermore desires to assist others to receive training also. Cadet has been an instrument of truth and inspiration to many audiences, blessing them with his God-given gift of music. He has been privileged with the opportunity to minister countless times at venues such as universities, churches, bars, youth centre’s etc, also having the privilege to share the stage with such artists as Jahaziel, Tryumf, Isaiah Dyer, Royal Priesthood, Ryan Carty, Gems and Mercy.
