Funded by a combination of a generous grant from the Belle Foundation, donations through Kickstarter.com, and money raised busking and performing, Corpus Callosum at last entered a professional recording studio on August 16th, 2010. This video chronicles 7 days at Guerrilla Recordings in Oakland, CA, as well as a few of the rehearsals in-between. So far, 10 out of 11 songs have base tracks, two of which are complete and ready for mixing. While juggling the first week of school, indomitable work schedules and debilitating tooth and toe pain, we return to the studio this next week to finish our work on what has become our collectively largest project yet.
We intend to release these recordings amid memorable fanfare before the end of the year - please stay tuned!
