Buju Banton (Mark Myrie) talks about his beginnings in music. Includes excerpts of Reggae Sunsplash 1992 performing Stamina Daddy, in the studio recording Deportees, and audio of Tribal War... all tracks from Buju's 1992 album Voice Of Jamaica.

Buju Banton is currently in a United States federal prison serving a 10-year sentence for
conspiracy to possess, with intent to distribute, 5 kg (around 11 pounds) of cocaine, and
possession of a firearm. He is currently scheduled to be released in January 2019.
Buju is still defending the charges laid against him, and recently had the conviction of
gun possession quashed.
