Hello,
This is my cover of Bryan Adam's, "Something About Christmas Time."
I know not much people know this tune, but I remember it back years ago coming on the radio and have always liked it. I had no idea who it was and forgot about it, until last year after I finished the last Christmas album. So, I remembered it for this year and finally did it.

This was my first song I recorded this year for my new Christmas album. It was in August. I wanted to get permission from Adam's, so I consistently emailed his managers and people that work with him. I got a reply saying that they didn't decide whether I had permission or not, so they gave me an email of the publisher that had permission. I emailed them a few times, but never got an email back. So, I assume I just won't send this to the radio. Though, I did get permission from Tom Petty himself to send, "Free Fallin'," to the radio back a few months ago, so that was pretty cool!

Also, this song (As well as all of rest of my Christmas album) the drums were recorded one by one. For example, the snare by it self, the toms be it self, the bass drum by it self, the crash cymbals by it self, the hi-hat by it self, and the ride cymbals by it self. It takes about an hour longer to do it this way, but I prefer to do it like this that way I have complete control over the individual drums, and can mix it exactly how I need to.

Anyway, I hope you like it and this is just one out of a whole-nother month of Christmas tunes! Which if you know me, is my favorite kind of music, and listen to it all year long.
