Started in 1999 by musicians Criterion & doily, Broklyn Beats Records has slowly developed into a staple of North American experimental electronic music. While we use the term breakcore quite often (see Drop the Lime, 1-Speed Bike and DJ /Rupture,) our releases span a wider selection of underground music from techno (Troy Geary) to lo-fi dub (doily) to mashed pop (Donna Summer) to experimental breaks (Criterion.) Our focus is on experimental music, regardless of genre or format.
