DESCRIPTION:
The Dranoff 2 Piano presents Piano Slam 5. Teo Castellanos, former Executive Producer of the Miami Hip Hop Project directed an ensemble that included Marcel and Elizabeth Bergmann, Dranoff's award-winning duo piano team, Shamele Jenkins, internationally recognized touring poet, DJ Brimstone 127, percussionist Lizzy Galvan, dancers choreographed by Luis Cuevas and 17 winning student poets.

Piano Slam is an annual program that brings together Dranoff's award-winning pianists, renowned poets, and middle and high school students to write poetry about music for a county-wide competition. A jury of poets and writers selects the winners who perform their work concert with Dranoff pianists, professional rappers, and other artists.
