Yesterday was the last calendar day of one of the more stressful years of my life. Today is the first calendar day of the rest of it.

This song was an awesome experience in the midst of it to be privileged to share with Alexander. When we first discussed it, we knew the song had potential and we wanted to honor that potential. Four months later, on the ninth draft of the second version of our song, we felt like we'd honored it well.
