Sibyl Vane

Sibyl Vane is a french band. They spent a full year finding a new way to tell stories. Finding new stories to tell themselves.

They wrote to people and people wrote to them too. So they made music and illustrate them together.

Then summer came and the stories were still exciting, so they were recorded "live" in France (and a couple of days).

Then winter came again and the songs found a shelter in the Hotel2Tango in Montreal. Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire - A Silver Mt. Zion) shaped them.

So here they are well, in a few months at least. (March ?)

The Locked Suitcase will be the title of this collection of songs.

Sibyl Vane est un groupe français. Un groupe qui a consacré une année à trouver une nouvelle façon de raconter des histoires. De nouvelles histoires à se raconter.

Ils ont écrit à des gens et ces gens ont écrit aussi. Alors, ils ont fait de la musique et l'ont illustrée ensemble.

Puis l'été est arrivé et les histoires étaient toujours passionnantes, alors il fallait les enregistrer. En France, "live" et vite.

Puis l'hiver est revenu et ces chansons ont trouvé refuge à l'Hotel2Tango à Montréal. Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire - A Silver Mt. Zion) leur a donné leur forme définitive.

Alors les voici. enfin bientôt. (Mars ?)

Le titre de ce recueil de chanson sera "The Locked Suitcase"



La reprise de "I'm Deranged" de David Bowie a été enregistrée pour le disque "2. Contamination" (Arcade Fire - The Dresden Dolls.).
