James Popenhagen performing Do You Want To Dance and Move It On Over in Battle Creek Michigan 2014. James was a close friend to Del Shannon and learned Del's stage show first hand from watching back stage as Shannon's guest. James Is self taught guitar player, who also plays piano, drums and bass. He's produced over a dozen albums for other artist and three of his own. He's currently working shows all over the world and in studio with Johnny Carver (Tie A Yellow Ribbon) when not traveling.
