Boom Bits

Boom Bits is a six piece ensemble who has been performing latin, funk, hip hop, jazz and soul in New York City for the past 3 years. Boom Bits brings an electrifying live music performance, featuring lead MC Anonymous and Soul/Jazz Singer Grace Kalambay along with founding members Miles Moran (drums) and Kyle McEwen (bass), the femme fatale force of Uma (alto sax and flute) and Saki (tenor sax), Ray Boogie (percussion) and new member hailing from California, Isamu (keys). Being influenced by everything under the sun, from 30's swing jazz to classic soul to current giants like the Roots and Tribe, these boys have come to drip music all over your libido. Boom Bits has performed at venues such as Shrine (Harlem), Bruckner Bar & Grill (Bronx), Don Hills, Rebel Diaz Arts Center (Bronx), SUNY New Paltz, Blue Note, and Bowery Poetry Club.
