The performance was held outside in the artist lounge. While waiting for it to start, all the VIPs asked each other what kind of questions they had, but most had no idea what to say to him. Hence, the extended pauses and why Billy joked with the fans about being able to leave early, lol. As we walked in, we asked William how he’s doing, and he replied: “Oh, you know… first show of the tour…” Indeed, this was the first show of The End Times Tour with Marilyn Manson.

Why Billy chose to play these 3 songs for us may have been inadvertently answered in the Q&A, when he talked about how the atom bomb went off and how they’re still here.

Corgan: “What you see now is like what I call a 5.0 version of The Pumpkins. A musical juggernaut that can go in any direction, and literally has survived what I call the ‘cockroach phase’. Like the bomb went off... like Here’s The Atom Bomb. The bomb went off. Whether it went off in ’96, 2000, 2007, 2008, doesn’t matter. Whatever bombs went off… still here.”

I tried to block the wind with my legs, but there was just too much of a breeze.. It was still a nice experience to have the performance outside, though.
