Max grew up in Devon before moving to Stockholm, where he formally studied song writing. After this, he moved to London to hone his craft at the Institute of Contemporary Music. Since then, the talented singer has performed at prestigious London venues such as The Garage, Vibe Bar and The Roundhouse, where he collaborated with reggae legend Maxi Priest for Save the Children’s event ‘A Night of Reggae’, alongside artists such as Jimmy Cliff, Ali Campbell, Ernest Ranglin, Sly and Robbie, Suggs and Dawn Penn. In 2015 Max became winner of I Luv Live's Viewers Choice competition was part of the line up at the acclaimed Time Out’s Rising Stars event at The Jazz Cafe.
