Who is John Blue?



Up and coming Contemporary Christian/Gospel artist John Blue wants you to listen up! Coming at you from New Jersey, this 29 year old musical prodigy is ready to take the gospel world by storm. With his powerful message, innovative beats and excellent work ethic, John Blue is guaranteed to inject life into the often repetitive sounds of current gospel. Since he was a teenager, John Blue felt the urgency to do gospel music.



“Gospel music today has come along way, but nowhere near where it should be. I think that we should be setting the trends and the new innovative sounds…I know we should. I also believe that it should not be afraid to go past our familiarities….we know where we have been….we have to continue to move forward. For me, I always knew I wanted to do music. I remember growing up sitting in my parents car listening to everything from contemporary Christian to gospel music…its been apart me as far as I can remember. It was not until I was around 17-18 when I decided to wholeheartedly do NeoGospel.



Addressing the latest criticism aimed at the current state of gospel music, John Blue is optimistic at its’ future and about the world-wide appeal of the NeoGospel culture. He also speaks about his deep love for his new album entitled, ‘The Love Project.’



“This album means so much to me. Each song that was recorded was inspired by God for God, but each song ministered and touched me first and still does. To be honest I did it for me and I wanted to share it with everybody. The message? Well…things are best understood in their simplest form and being direct. God loves you … You cant get anymore direct than that!”

John Blue hails from New Jersey. He is President and CEO of NeoGospel Entertainment. He has been making music since the age of eight when he started playing the keyboard. He also serves at his local church as lead drummer within the music ministry. His message is clearly heard and defined in a very special unique way that is easily approachable by all. John pushes the envelope of Christian/Gospel music into a new genre, a genre which he calls NeoGospel.
