After being awarded funding from Creative Scotland, autumn 2014 saw Blueflint record their new album 'Stories from home.' with renowned producer Paul Savage (King Creosote, Mogwai, From Scotland with Love.)

Blueflint released 'Stories from home,' on 30th March 2015 and are touring throughout the UK at the moment.

Blueflint have previously released two highly acclaimed albums; 'High Bright Morning,' and the much anticipated 'Maudy Tree.'

The sound of Blueflint is defined by the sublime close harmonies of Deborah Arnott and Clare Neilson whose voices are accompanied by a five-piece line-up intertwining banjos, fiddle, piano, electric guitar, double-bass and drums in raw, honest and beautifully-crafted songs, imbued with a strong alt folk flavour.

2012 saw Blueflint support The Proclaimers for six weeks, taking in venues such as Edinburgh's Playhouse and London's Shepherds Bush Empire. Blueflint's atmospheric and evocative performances, proved them to be a formidable live act and gained them a strong reputation and following through the UK.
