BLUECHANNEL

Bluechannel formed in 1993 in a small town called Jersey City in NJ.

Jason Reo & Chris Bennett played in a band called 3-pc crank in which we recruited jamie cerullo to replace the current drummer and chris hand to replace the current bass player. shortly after our singer left. Since Jason Reo & Chris Bennett wrote all of the songs they decided to keep playing and searched for a replacement singer which proved to be diffacult until we discovered jamie cerullo's brother "brian" had some ability and actually contributed lyrically and melodically so we got him to sing for us hence the birth of bluechannel. We released our first demo in 1996 which contained the tracks "fell between the seats, clean wipe & chris & carrie" after 2 more years of scraping for cash we finally released our first full length LOOKIN AT LIFE THROUGH DIRTY GLASSES in 1998. between then and now we recorded some stuff here and there some which was released on various comps and in 2002 released a 3 song demo of new songs "cant say i mind, holding onto letting go & before the fightng starts". During that session we had about 8 more songs which only got as far as scatch and solid drum tracks we plan on finishing those eventually, we do have live tracks we recorded at maxwells in 2004 that contain more up to date songs that we have written. You can still catch us performing at maxwells in hoboken from time to time supporting our "final show ever".we are still writing songs and if we get the chance we will record them, So thanks to everyone who has supported us in the past and still support us, and to alll the new fans we're picking up that help keep us going.
