Blood Soaked Hands originated in San Clemente, CA in the Spring of 2003. We are a female fronted 5 piece punk rock n’ roll band. We incorporate different styles in order to preserve a uniqueness and refreshing blend of cutting edge and high energy music. In the past year we have released a self produced 6 song CD/EP titled, “Churchfolk and Sinners”, and this past winter appeared on the Hostage Records compilation “Collateral Damage.” We have recently recorded 5 new songs and have plenty of new material due to be recorded. Our live performances have been described as ‘intoxicating’ and ‘impressively refreshing’. Recent performances have included playing with the likes of Greg Ginn of Black Flag, the English Dogs, T.S.O.L.,the Weirdos, DOA, the Stitches, Chaos UK, Duane Peters and the Hunns, the Starvations, Street Dogs, the Orphans, the Skulls, Geisha Girls, and many more. We have plans for a west coast tour beginning the summer of 2005.

We are seeking to meet new people, bands, promoters, artists, labels that will actually give us a chance to show you our stuff. We take great pride in our creation of controlled chaos.

Some feedback:

Here we have the debut EP from OC’s latest sensations, BLOOD SOAKED HANDS. Powerfull and creepy female vocals backed with fast, sharp and in your face punk rock. This band has been making quite a name for themselves with their energetic and packed shows in and around Orange County. Now it’s time for the rest of the world to hear what all the buzz is about. .The female-fronted Blood Soaked Hands’ "Lights Out" is terrific—Elysia Moon comes off like a kicked-in-the-stomach Courtney Love, but with a voice so meaty we bet she could belt out opera. Rich Kane- OC WEEKLY

BLOOD SOAKED HANDS: If X had maybe embraced the sort of violent minded hardcore kids from the beach instead of taking it as some invasive cancerous growth to punk, they might have turned out a little bit like BSH. Tight, twisting thrash pitted against some great female/male vocals, proving just as catchy as it is riot inducing. By far the one of the best things Southern O.C. has going right now

The Blood Soaked Hands. It’s catchy, to say the least. I previewed their recently completed demo, Church Folk and Sinners, which finds many characteristics that are of distinction and power. I would have to say that one of their greatest strengths is that fact that they are fronted by a female singer, Elysia Moon. Though reminiscent of "X", Blood Soaked Hands offers a new twist on punk by being more about the music than the clothes that they wear. Sarah Morrison- LIVE MAGAZINE

Blood Soaked Hands are a vampy camp, mostly in part because of their female front man, front person, front whatever, out of south O.C. With a solid buzz around town I just had to catch a show to see what all the hoopla was about. Everybody I talked to that weekend was off to far away lands (i.e. Hollywood) to support bigger names (namely The Genitortures), so I wasn't prepared for what I was about to walk into. The little dive gig in San Clemenete was swarming with high energy. Everybody kept screaming at the DJ to stop, and at the band to start. I'm not usually very impressed with singers of the female persuasion (sorry girls) but this one did her job, and did it well. The music beneath her voice was very eighties punk reminiscent with a crusty edge, and a fierce punch. There were no synchronized leaps toward the sky, and the only hooks in their songs were the ones that snagged your lip and drug you through their angst Dannie Kaye - AJB MAGAZINE
