So Cal gave us a lot of original punk bands, including Broken Bottles.
The Broken Bottles formed in summer of 2000. When Rodney Bingenheimer got
ahold of their single "Gothic Chicks", he started blasting it over the
airwaves on his radio show "Rodney on The Roq".
Broken Bottles hit the club scene. After the release of their 6 song e.p.
"Not Pretty" in 2002, Wade Walston of U.S. Bombs and the film "Suburbia"
fame, became Broken Bottles tour manager. In 2002 The Bottles released
their first full length "In The Bottles" on TKo Records.

"These guys seriously sound like they've discovered a time machine back to
1982. So Cal punk with just a touch of death rock for good measure. If
you remember bands like "The Super Heroines", "RF7", and "Funeral", you
will appreciate this. (JRM)
"It's good mid-tempo punk. It's something you can tap your fingers to
while you're wishing you weren't at work!" LOUD FAST RULES
"The distortion from Ace's guitar blares through the Marshall half stack,
Travis' bass just cruses through while Jason pounds away on the
drums!" DIEGO DEL SCORCHO - BIG WHEELS MAGAZINE
Jesse fronts the band on vocals giving us this cut throat sound
that can best be described as early Social Distortion, Agent Orange, TSOL,
circa 1981.
Broken Bottles have shared the stage with The Adolescents, TSOL, Agent
Orange, The Dickies, JFA, The Dwarves, The Stitches, Smogtown, MDC, Smut
Peddlers, Manic Hispanic, Duane Peters and The Hunns, The Lewd, Decry,
Neighborhood Watch, Ciril, Swingin' Utters, D.I., Exploited, U.S. Bombs, and many
more.
This year broken Bottles completed their 2nd full length album titled
"Hospital" which has been in heavy rotation on Sirius Satalite Radio.
2008 began with a tour in Japan and the U.S., with a European tour in the
works.
Broken Bottles continue to crank out intoxicating sing alongs and O.C.
Anthems.
