Thanks to everyone who has recently watched my Royal Blood covers and been commenting on the performance and board that I use. I'm currently going through a bit of an update with it at the moment so I will be fixing it up before I do a run down of the whole rig (got some crazy ideas that may stretch the sound even more so!)

Anyway, for a bit of fun, I thought I'd play a short medley of songs that sound pretty sweet with the sound, which you could potentially get away with on a show if there's any reason the guitarist is having techincal difficulties (be that at the show or just late!).
For functions, I do run the bass/guitar setup as it really helps for filling out the sound (ie when guitarist goes for solo or plays alternative part). For the purporses of this video I'm just tackling heavier songs (using the Zvex Fuzz Factory) but I do use the MXR Distortion + for mellower sounds (when plugged in of course!). The songs I cover include:

Audioslave - Cochise
Jimi Hendrix - Hey Joe (Live Riff)

The setup is Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe into the board that splits at the Boss LS2/TU2 into bass tones (bottom pedals) and guitar tones (top pedals). Bass sound is the Sansamp Bass Driver DI'd into Logic Pro X and the output of the guitar from the Boss NS-2 is straight into Logic and using a clean Orange 4x12 simulator sound. Video recorded with Zoom 3QHD camcorder and iPhone5.
