Lucas Lodewyk Maree was a well known South African singer/songwriter.
Born 22 july 1952 in Johannesburg and died 18 february 2011 in Bloemfontein.

I made this video as a tribute to Lucas Maree.
...and to assure his music will never be forgotten.
I had the privilege to attend a music festival "Eurokasie" in Leusden, The Netherlands where Lucas performed, together with other SA artists.
Talking with him was as much a pleasure as it was an honor!
Lucas... You are dearly missed!
My wish for strength, health and prosperity go out to his wife and three daughters.
