Offer by Alanis Morissette - PTTP 2009 - Part-27 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 17, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
ALANIS MORISSETTE - Fourteen years after the breakthrough debut of Jagged Little Pill, an album which earned four GRAMMYs, sold 30 million records and spawned a dedicated worldwide fan base, Alanis Morissette remains not only an enduringly popular artist, but one whose celebrated body of work stems from a fierce commitment to authenticity and, to an equal extent, vulnerability. She has always evidenced that she was an artist with her own point of view and is regarded as one of the most insightful artists of our time. To this day, Jagged Little Pill remains the best-selling debut release by a female artist in the U.S. and is also the highest selling debut album worldwide in music history.
Please **donate**:
I do donate $ myself and besides that I am sharing this video with you. As Alanis Morissette, Michael Franti and many many other donated their time and everything else to this event too. We are all for it! I hope you do the same. ;)

Go to www.powertothepeaceful.org and check out CDs and cool stuff. Or (just) donate or work as volunteer and spread Peace and Conscious Action all over the Planet. PTTP is only possible with donation of people like You.

Power to the Peaceful is the BEST festival in the World!!! Thank you Michael Franti & Spearhead and all the Volunteers and Artists!

Please learn about CARE here: http://powertothepeaceful.org/?page_id=220

By the way, PTTP, is The modern "Woodstock". This is the best festival in the World! Too bad Mayor Gavin Newsom have not realized it yet. ;) Wake up Dude :) How much you charge to rent that park for a day? 2 milhon dollars... Michael Franti don't charge anything from anybody. This is a DONATION based event. The city of San Francisco with the people of San Francisco (us) could donate the Golden Gate Park to the event. Mr. Mayor your vision is kind of limited or you are moved by greed. Sorry about that.. I will stop with politics here ;)

Among a breadth of charity work, Morissette especially finds time to support Environmental causes and organizations, such as Reverb, a non-profit that helps musicians and music fans to achieve environmental sustainability through carbon-neutral initiatives. Morissette was one of the first artists to have her CD and DVD materials released on recycled paper. Initially, she paid for this out of her own pocket, but its now become an industry standard. Her passions also include Womens issues and Artists rights on behalf of which she has written several articles, as well as spoken to Congress.
