You just heard the Black Tiger Delay, with just a hint of the Hammer, both from Greer Amps. The Black Tiger began its odyssey in the gears and rotors of vintage tape and oil can echoes. Nick Greer took inspiration from these devices when crafting the Black Tiger and gave it gritty repeats reminiscent of vintage echo units, with an all-analog signal path. The second footswitch of the Black Tiger is used for toggling trails on and off. This lets users abruptly cut the repeats or keep them going when the pedal is bypassed, even going into self oscillation. The Black Tiger uses an all-analog buffer for pristine tone preservation, which is useful for sweetening the signal or combating tone loss associated with long cable runs. We've been hitting the front end of the Black Tiger with the Hammer, an all-new distortion/fuzz, featuring a unique Grunt knob for variable input saturation.
