DESCRIPTION:
Broke For Free is the sole project of Tom Cascino of Santa Cruz, California. An experimental glitch-hop/trip-hop sound that also utilizes lighter synth elements normally found in trance or psychedelic electronic music. The song 'Black Lung' is off the conceptual album Grass Hop, which was created with the purpose in mind of being listened to while completing a task (driving, studying, working, writing, etc). Definitely a more mellow side of an otherwise grungy genre.
